Albert Einstein said, "Look deep, deep into nature. You will understand everything better." The inspiration for our name comes from the word nature, derived from the Latin word natura . It signifies “essential qualities, innate disposition”, and in ancient times, literally meant ‘birth’.   Natura  was a Latin translation of the Greek word physis  (φύσις), which originally related to the intrinsic characteristics that plants, animals, and other features of the world develop of their own accord.

We love nature, wonder at her intelligence and thank for her love.

We have studied hundreds of products, visited about 250 companies. We have studied how products are designed, manufactured, delivered, and serviced in the industrial world. Compared to nature's prowess of design and manufacturing, human industrial world's performance is at best abysmal.

Nature also makes products—a leaf  that runs on sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into food, an eye  that gives a visual view of the world, a brain  that processes massive amounts of data and stores memories of a lifetime—at negligible cost and in perfect harmony with environment. A leaf costs a couple of cents, an eye costs a quarter of a dollar, and a brain costs about one dollar in monetary terms of its constituent terms. When their useful life is over, they are recycled in the least possible time. What more? In nature’s factory there are no workers, supervisors, machines, quality experts, and no lighting. Nature has been using nanotechnology from day one of her creation which started about 3.5 billion years ago. Its characteristics are self-assembly, bottom-up approach, hierarchy and massive parallelism, which the scientific world is understanding now. You have a technology problem; Ask nature. She might have a solution already. For design problems, manufacturing problems, logistics problems, behavioral problems we can look at nature for a solution. For benchmarking, we need not look a best-in-the-class company but to nature. Nature is millions of years ahead in technology, manufacturing, and organization.

Based on this inspiration we named our consultancy company “Natura Consultancy Services”.

Natura consultancy services Pvt Ltd., following nature's models and metrics, provides consultancy and training in the areas of lean product design, demand planning, order processing, scenario planning, balanced score card, cash conversion cycle, lean manufacturing, lean supply chain, lean service, six-sigma, and theory of constraints.
